Peter has been in the industry for over 50 years originally starting as a trainee actuary with Legal & General. As a founder of what was then Kirby & Co he built up a reputation second to none in and around the area, assisting many a generation of clients whether it has been pension, investment, tax planning or mortgage related. His investment knowledge has been valuable for the business and clients alike, thinking outside the box in order to.gain as positive a return as possible in all financial market climates. He continues to assist many a client through their retirement planning and thereafter.
Peter is a Chartered Financial Planner and a Pensions Transfer Specialist.
Paul came into the industry in 1989 working for an adviser practice in Bury. (Yes, he’s Lancastrian and a Manchester City fan!)
His next twenty years gave him the wealth of experience and contacts that he has via such reputable companies as Scottish Provident, Scottish Mutual, Clerical Medical and Sun Life of Canada.
He now loves to be handed someone’s pile of pension paperwork, sifting through all the information and requesting far more than that in order to ascertain exactly what an individual has.
Final Salary pensions scheme are one of the most complex pension arrangements around. Yet, Paul loves to get involved in the maths and science behind the calculations, the benefits and confirm exactly why they are, more often than not, the plan that an individual should hang onto. That’s what over thirty years of experience can do.
Once all the due diligence has been done (and only then) a layman terms plan can be put together using to suit you and your family. Before, during and after retirement.
Paul is Diploma qualified and a Pension Transfer Specialist.
